Reuben has been busy, yes that its a stainless steering wheel that he made.... :exciting:

He's obliviously got far too much spare time on his hands. :haha:

Good point Mike, I don't think you will ever win with that market, but thats all good as if you can make one you should.
The ski makers have put a far amount of R&D into getting their skis to perform and the intake is a huge part of this.
Just ask any jetboat racer about the performance gains in that area.
I will be hanging out for a proper intake with a bisal grill, hint...hint.

Yeah.. It's not so much about selling them for me it's more that I have always wanted to make them, learning how to cast these things and make the moulds is interesting

I helped Reuben with the last of the wiring today and fired it up and went testing :exciting: The boat is awesome soft riding and NO porpoising even when trimmed right up, Travels over nothing and super slow planing, The intake performed perfectly as expected. The boat performs as designed and is just like sitting in a larger boat with high sides and a huge amount of room with a walk around engine box.

been watching for a while now but i have a question so thought i would register.

I like the steering wheel btw

I have a Harris marine intake in my boat. It was one of the early ones and I'm very keen to see what the newer ones are like

when you installed the grate how many bars and how thick? also an overall width and length would be great

Hi Jimmy, Your intake is exactly the same as the one in Reuben's boat, the only difference to the new ones is cosmetic , you should have 10 or 11 bars in the grill

Yes i have 11 1/4" (6mm) bars. how thick are yours? it looks like you have 12 but really hard to tell.

i am experiencing some minor cavitation but i have a 215 hp motor so that could be the reason. I've tried a few things to fix it but it really seems to me like i don't have enough open area. if i take the grate off it works flawless.

yeah no grate wll give you the punch but will affect the other end as the intake area is allot larger than the jet ski, the bigger the hp the more you will notice it, the grill is the key. we use 5x25mm bars
