    opened the manifold up a bit too, gives it more area to cool the air.

    Thanks for posting all the photos.
    What is the material that you machined the intercooler out of.
    Will the height be too much?

    As an aside, is there some sort of liquid plastic, you could cast the little radiator into then machine flat.

    product is called carp, its good for 130 deg mace engineering do one thats 55mm thick so it should b fine

    every plug fits apart from the MAF sensor and throttle sensor :anger: do you need a maf sensor to run the engine? it has a MAP sensor, could i just use that?

    good news, the memcal that i got is for a manual so it does not need a MAF sensor just the 2 bar MAP sensor :D retro fit the throttle position switch then its all ready to get wired up :big_smile:

    got both manifolds bolted on, its starting to look like an engine now :big_smile:

    got the boat back from the paint shop too

    cheers Steelo, its going to take a while juggling work and a new family but im getting there. hope to get engine in this weekend, gotta make or find a alternator bracket for it b4 i can get a belt to drive the supercharger and fire it up :money:

    one side done, its tucked it 100mm at the top :big_smile: the gunual it 1400mm inside so i use to have have 230mm each side of the manifolds now im going to have about 330mm :exciting:

    alternator bracket on its way :big_smile: for the money i paid for it i couldn't make a one, its gonna take a few days to arrive but should be sweet.

    all done, it was 900mm across the manifolds now its 710mm :big_smile: :big_smile: b4 and after shots :victory:

    Great idea to machine the headers.
    Can you still get the rocker covers off of you need to.
    How did you go flushing the sand out of the manifolds.

    hose for the sand, the oil cap and rocker covers could be an issue :cry: but time will tell :grimace:

    the manifolds were joined together with RTV blocking most of the passengers so a little less this time

    RTV should be just a thin film Ben,Have seen many good engines destroyed by too much RTV aye.Looking good though

    went to fit the fuel rail in the weekend, its exactly 55mm too short :scorn: got a injector rail extenders in a kit on its way now... hope they fit :what:

    inlet manifold and senders all modified :big_smile: its almost wired up now :victory: alternator bracket arrives in about a week, by then i should have everything all hooked up and ready for the fire up :big_smile:

    Supercharger getting all new bearings, alternator bracket in chch just waiting on customs clearance, almost done 770 conversion all wiring done, just need to fit starter motor, fuel pump and should b able to fire it up, xmas time I hope but the wee feller not aloud in boat yet, he only 3 months old.
