Hi I am having a few issues with getting the most out of my motor / jet combo. I have a 4.2M Aitcheson hull with a Ford 302 in it matched to a 773 with a Scott nozzle. The original combo was a 18 front followed by two 19's and a 96mm nozzle. This really struggled to get out of the water so changed the front impellar out to 21 and left the two 19's in behind it. Initially left the nozzle at 96mm, certainly got out of the water a little better but not by that much, revved out to 4000rpm. Then decided to pull the liner right out and opened the nozzle right out - this helped a little more, rev's out now to 4600rpm and does about 75KM on GPS. What I am after is more perormance right out of the hole. The engine almost seems to free rev right up to 4000rpm then sit till the second barrel comes in on the holley before the boat really gets out. What are your thoughts as to how I can get a better match?
Thanks
