Dhs can I swap you a reliable 4.3 chev for the LSA? Seriously its looking very nice. Is it a genuine LSA or a Mike special supercharged ls? What did the dyno say? Is this a superboat or one of the other classes as the standard lsa has around 550hp doesn't it?
    Cheers

The motor has been set up with the supercharger by dhs and is custom built to run methanol as it will run in super boat, The set up is a credit to dhs, it has 210lb Bosch injectors and is running on the LS1 computer.

Its pretty close to an lsa. LS9 dry sump, forged psitons, different heads, cam, exhaust valves, oil pump, arp bolts, etc etc. Dyno on Friday - so will know what we can get then. Superboat class. Yep - standard LSA 550. Hoping to get away without the intercooler for weight reasons. We'll see how that goes...

Spent most of the day on the Dyno with allot of success, intercooler not required due to the methanol keeping the EGTs we'll under control, we started with 6lb of boost and made 700hp then went to 12lb of boost and made 866hp and 760ftlb of torque, we went to 15lb of boost to get 950 hp and 800 ftlb of torque all with the exhaust temps at around 620 deg c, we will play with the tune in the boat and get a bit more :exciting: The motor sounds awesome :haha:

Dyno results below. These are the 2 larger pullies. Doesn't include the Pulley we used when the dyno torque maxed out - the computer didn't save these result (I'll put vid up as well)
