Here is the next stage of painting
1 boat is baked at 70deg for 30min to make sure all moisture is dried out of hull
2 Cleand with alloy cleaner at least five times to get rid of all comtaminates
3 Masked up ready to prime
Boat primed with 2 coats of epoxy primer two enable filler two adhere properly two hull.Once primed baked at 70deg for 40min
Cool you will have it all sorted by the time mine is ready..
Gouldy ,it`s looking smooth ,a couple of questions . will the unpainted section be a plain (unpatterned)matt ally finish or a polished finish under the clear coat ,and is the special clear coat resistant to stone chips etc ,better than a standard paint finish .
It will look like it does now with a shiney clear over top .The clear is very hard dont now if it will chip its a bit of a trile and era its the first time that i know of this clear has been put on a boat like this Saw it 4 the first time in the sun 2day very differant cant wait 2 see what it looks like with clear over it :-) :-)
